…for the first day of the A to Z Blogging Challenge. I don’t have a predetermined theme, necessarily. My strategy was to brainstorm a few words for each letter, pick one that stood out, and then write about a memory, association, or opinion that I had with it. I don’t write fiction or poetry, so my entries might not be as flowery as some other writers’.
Hopefully you’ll see a mix of serious and fun topics that offer a little glimpse into my world.
So, one challenge down and one to go.
You may remember reading about my challenge to give up seven foods for the month of March, based on reading the book 7 by Jen Hatmaker. You can read more about it here, but basically, I think I succeeded. If I’m 100% honest, I might have cheated a bit, such as licking the spoon after serving my son his chocolate pudding. Oops. Other than that, I was good. I feel kind of stupid saying that I missed cheese. But I did. A lot.
The next 7 challenge, if I keep up the experiment, probably will have to do with clothes. As in giving a lot of them away. I’m pretty sure I can do it. Stay tuned, and don’t forget to join me for the A to Z Challenge!
